Guide for Employees: How to Apply for Leave

  • Login to Attendance Keeper: Start by logging into your Attendance Keeper account.
  • Navigate to the ’Leaves’ Section: From the left-hand menu, click on ’Leaves’. This will open the Leave Application page, where you can see details like total leave days, approval rates, and employees currently on leave.
  • Click on ’Apply for Leave’: In the top-right corner, click on the ’Apply for Leave’ button. This will open the leave request form.
  • Choose the Leave Type: In the form, select the leave type that applies to your request: Vacation Leave, Sick Leave, or Personal Leave. If these do not apply, you can select Custom and provide a specific leave type.
  • Pick the Date(s): Use the date picker to select the start and end dates for your leave. If it’s a one-day leave, just choose the same date for both start and end.
  • Provide a Reason: Enter the reason for your leave in the provided text box. Be as specific as possible to ensure clarity.
  • Submit Your Request: Once everything is filled out, click ’Submit’ to send your request. You will see a confirmation that your request has been submitted and is pending approval.

  • Login to Attendance Keeper: Start by logging into your Attendance Keeper account as a manager.
  • Navigate to the ’Leaves’ Section: From the left-hand menu, click on ’Leaves’. This will take you to the Leave Application page, where you can see all the leave requests submitted by employees under your supervision.
  • View Pending Leave Requests: You’ll see a list of all leave requests, including details such as the employee name, leave type, and reason for the request. Pending requests will be marked accordingly.
  • Review a Leave Request: To review a request, click on the ’Action’ button next to the employee’s name and choose ’View’. This will open a detailed view of the leave request.
  • Check Leave Allowance and History: In the detailed view, you can see the employee’s total leave allowance, how many days they have consumed, and how many days they have left.
  • Approve or Reject the Leave Request: Based on the provided information, you can either approve or reject the request by clicking the ’Approve’ or ’Reject’ buttons. Once you’ve made a decision, the employee will be automatically notified.
  • Manage Multiple Requests: You can manage multiple leave requests at once by going through the list and repeating the actions for other pending requests.

  • Filtering Leave Requests: Managers can filter leave requests by employee name, leave type, or date range to find specific requests faster.
