Employee Attendance Guide

Follow this guide to efficiently monitor and manage employee attendance in your Attendance Keeper account.

How to Monitor or View Employee Attendance in Attendance Keeper

  • Navigate to the Attendance Section: From the left sidebar, hover over the Attendance menu and click on the Attendance tab. This will take you to the attendance tracking page, where you can see detailed attendance records for all employees.

Understanding the Attendance Records

The attendance page displays a list of employees and key details about their attendance for a specific date. Here’s what each column represents:

  • Name: Displays the employee’s name and department.
  • Department: Indicates the department the employee belongs to.
  • Date: Shows the date of the attendance record.
  • Clock In: Displays the exact time the employee clocked in for the day.
  • Clock Out: Shows the time the employee clocked out. If the employee forgot to clock out, you can manually edit this time.
  • Working Time: Reflects the total time the employee worked between clocking in and out, excluding breaks.
  • Worklog: Displays the number of worklogs submitted for the day. Each employee is expected to submit worklogs describing what they have done during the day.
  • Duration: The total time the employee spent at work, including any overtime or work beyond the regular working hours.

Editing Attendance Records

  • To correct or update an employee’s attendance record, click the Edit button in the Action column next to the respective record. This allows you to manually update clock-in and clock-out times, if necessary, such as when an employee forgot to clock out.

Filtering Attendance Records

  • If you’re looking for specific attendance records, use the Filter option in the top-right corner. You can filter by date, employee, department, or other criteria to narrow down the results and view the specific attendance records you’re interested in.

Exporting Attendance Data

  • You can download the attendance data by clicking on the Download button in the top-right corner of the page. This exports the data to a CSV and PDF file for further analysis or record-keeping.

Taking Action on Attendance Data

  • Use the attendance data to monitor employee attendance trends, address any punctuality issues, or track working hours and productivity. If an employee frequently forgets to clock in or out, you can use this information to guide discussions on improving their attendance behavior.
